Late Work/Absences

Students are responsible for making up any missed work. Assignments will be posted in the classroom for one week along with the bell work for that day. Bell work questions will also be posted on the teacher website. Students have equal the amount of days absent to make up the work. Please be mindful that it is the sooner the better in turning in missed work.
Students should strive to turn in all work on time. Late work causes difficulties for both the student and the teacher. 10% will be taken off for every day the assignment is late until the student reaches %50. After 2 weeks, you will not have an opportunity to make up any assignments or quizzes. Projects and essays will be taken up until the end of the quarter, though the highest grade possible will be 50% after it is 5 days late. Phone calls will be made to parents of students having difficulties turning work in on time.
