**** MATERIALS NEEDED**** Every 8th grade Science student will be required to have a journal/notebook. This must consist of a folder or binder that can house lined paper and handouts. I recommend a vinyl pocket folder with 3-hole prongs.
WELCOME to 8th Grade Science! I am excited for another successful year at TUSD! I look forward to having new adventures and creating new memories with this year's students.
A little bit about myself... I am proud to call myself a Thatcher Eagle, Class of '96, as well as an alumnus of UofA and NAU. I hope to continue the tradition of academic excellence that Thatcher has built.
This year we will be learning about our Environment, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.... which means we get to set things in motion and on fire! There will be alot of hands-on activities which means any supplies that can be donated to our classroom are always welcome!
In the Spring, we have Science AIMS. We will be preparing for this all year. I am excited and am sure this will be a fun and successful year for all students. A good attitude is the key to achievement.
